My name is Nate Phillips, and I’m a Class of 2025 running back/athlete from Shawnee Mission East High School Class 6A in Kansas. At 6’0/205 lbs., I’ve been recognized as a top RB prospect in the state, known for my physicality, versatility, great vision, and patience. I’m also a reliable pass-catcher, making me a multi-dimensional threat on offense. Beyond my performance, I’m a leader and team-first player who values culture and will do whatever it takes to help a program win.
Despite playing only 5 ¼ games my senior season due to a broken fibula, including two playoff games on a still-healing ankle, I earned All-State Honors and Sunflower League Honors. I finished the season with 570 yards on 81 carries and 7 touchdowns. Highlights include rushing for 134 yards and a touchdown on 7 carries in the first quarter of my fourth game before the injury happened in the beginning of the second quarter and 4 games later helping my team secure its first playoff win in seven years with 110 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown.
I’m passionate about contributing to a team’s success in any role needed. Given the competitive landscape of college football, I’m ready to do whatever is required—whether on offense, special teams, or as a leader in the locker room—to build a winning culture.
I’d love the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to a collegiate program.
