Personal Statement
I first started playing football in fifth grade after being encouraged by my older cousin. Since starting to play, I have traveled to Texas to play against one of their local teams, and have gone to Florida for the youth national championship. I also went to Puerto Rico to play against their national all star team, which was during my 8th grade year. Playing in Puerto Rico was one of the best experiences of my life and has motivated me to continue to pursue playing college football. That trip helped to build my character and open my mind to new experiences that I never thought I would be able to encounter. My confidence and overall enthusiasm have been built up over the years thanks to my amazing family and all the coaches that have encouraged me to become the best possible person I can be.
I believe I am an overall team player. I truly believe that to have a good team you have to become a family. Family is the most important thing in any team sport. I would love to be able to attend college and major in a science or health field. I also look forward to playing football in college. I feel that it would be a great experience and confidence builder and would allow me to pursue a dream I've had for years. I am excited to further my education and my athletic ability to help make a team one step closer to a family that will last forever.
Thank you.
