Nathaniel Olson '26 Recruiting Profile

As a high school Freshman, I started on Varsity at Defensive End and helped my team, the MDI Trojans on Mount Desert Island, Maine, get to the Northern regional finals in the eight man large division.  As a high school sophomore, I was asked by my coaches to move from starting Defensive End, to the Strong Linebacker position.  I am proud to say that we finished our season 11-1 and Maine State Champions in the 8 Man Large division.  We grew our defense into the best defense in Maine 8-man football.  Our defense allowed only 9 points in the playoffs and only one touchdown.  We eliminated the undefeated number one seed as well as a much larger number 2 seed to make it to the State Championship game.  In that game, our defense shut out another much larger team to win 28-0.  I personally ended the season leading the team in tackles.  In the State Championship game, I had 11 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks, and caused a fumble that sealed the game for us.  I received All Conference honorable mention my sophomore year.
Just wrapping up Junior season playing both sides of the ball.   I scored 4 TD’s at the FB position this season,  I led my team in tackles at LB & made All Conference to wrap up our 2024 season.
I absolutely love football and am solid at DE with lots of versatility to play different positions.  I have been going to numerous camps, showcases and recently competed at DE & won a trip  to GA for “The Show” with NXGN.  I am prepared for 11 man football.  I’m as strong as a lot of the guys already playing D-1 ball and I know I will be an asset to any team looking for a solid D Lineman. 

I am looking forward to finding the right college to achieve success on & off the field.
