Nathaniel Olson '26 Recruiting Profile

As a high school Freshman, I started on Varsity at Defensive End and helped my team, the MDI Trojans on Mount Desert Island, Maine, get to the Northern regional finals in the eight man large division.  As a high school sophomore this year, I was asked by my coaches to move from starting Defensive End, the position I started at Freshman year, to the Strong Linebacker position.  This is known to be one of the most difficult jobs on a defense.  I am proud to say that we finished our season 11-1 and Maine State Champions in the 8 Man Large division.  We grew our defense into the best defense in Maine 8-man football.  Our defense allowed only 9 points in the playoffs and only one touchdown.  We eliminated the undefeated number one seed as well as a much larger number 2 seed to make it to the State Championship game.  In that game, our defense shut out another much larger team to win 28-0.
