Kyle Morand '16 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a 6th grade 5' 5", 120 lb QB and I am very serious about both academics and football. I want to start preparing for my future in both areas as soon as possible. I work hard at school and maintain an A average as well as being part of the math and engineering clubs. I have won awards in Civic Oration and Science Fairs. I am very serious about football and train with a local high School coach year round, while also playing Lacrosse, skiing,baseball and hockey. I hope to play at a college that offers me both an excellent academic career and the chance to play at the highest level of football that I am capable of. I know that living in a state like Maine puts me at a disadvantage nationally and I am determined to go to as many camps and showcases as I can to let coaches see what I can do regardless of where I live. I try to be a leader on and off the field and I lead by example. Last year my team played in the Blueberry Bowl in Maine and although I was sick (I vomited on the field before almost every play!) I refused to come off even when my coach said that I should sit out. We won the game and I even ran for a touchdown and passed for another. I will never give up or give in.
