Mason Jefferies '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1 1/2- 330 pound Defensive Tackle for my High School team at Lisbon High School. I have been a starter on my team for  year and will be a starter this upcoming season.  I will also be a captain this season as well. Our chances to win a state title are closer than ever before due to the fact that we have the best defense in our conference.

In college I would like to perform on the field to represent my team and family as much as I can. But most importantly, I hope to perform in my academics. I want to get a good education to hopefully one day become a sports journalist,  and I want to play the sport I love which is Football. My work ethic on the field is outstanding as I rarely will miss a practice, and I am more than willing to do whatever it takes that the coach tells me to do to get better. I also love giving people some extra help at their positions in practice, as I have been doing this summer to the incoming freshman lineman who are having some trouble with there form, or hand techniques. 

I believe my best fit would be High DIII-Low DII. But I am willing to play at the college thats the best for my education.
