Malakai Marcano '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Malakai Marcano. I am in the class of 2023 and i am from Trinidad but raised in Baltimore Maryland. I attended Frederick Douglass high school. I am a 6'1 Safety and Wr, also can play corner. I am a first year senior athlete it was my first season playing high school football but achieved a lot, including making it to the ALLSTAR team.  I am a football player who understands the game and studies it i am very observant. I strive to give all my effort every time i walk onto the field if it means fighting for tackles, getting those interceptions, putting points on the board through touchdowns. I want to do everything to help my team win. I am a very hard worker on and off the field and I put in hours working on my craft, strength, speed and things to better myself at this sport. I love football. I want to make my parents proud and be the first in my family to attend college, play football at that level and i will work as hard as can to achieve that dream. Everytime i have a bad game and lose confidence i always remember i have god by my side backing me up which is why i can always learn from my mistakes and bounce back. I am very coachable and respect all my coaches for giving me a better understanding of the game. Outside of this sport i try to be a good kid. I work hard when it comes to school and other activities. Overall i always thank god for blessing me and giving me the strength and defense to play this sport.
