Jerryn Preisinger '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jerryn Preisinger.  I am currently a Junior and three sport athlete at Eastern Technical High School in Baltimore, Maryland.  I began my football career when I was eight years old.  From the first snap I was hooked and I knew that football would forever be a big part of my life.  Through out the rec and high school seasons,  I have played various positions including running back, wide receiver, line backer, corner, punter and safety.   During my Sophomore season, I stepped up and volunteered to play quarterback.  Although it was a position I had never played, I led my team as a starter on both sides of the ball to a 9-1 record.  After the conclusion of the 2018 JV season,  I was pulled up to the varsity team for the remainder of their regular season and playoffs as the backup quarterback and starter on all special teams.   My first season under center, I was extremely tense but I soon gained confidence and quickly established myself as a dual threat quarterback.  During this past Junior season, I stepped up again and moved to running back.  As a running back, I lead my team in rushing yards and acquired forty three tackles and three interceptions on defense as a two way starter. Through out the years, I have learned that I am willing to play any position needed on the field to make my team successful and I am willing to do the same at the college level.
