Darren Cleary '19 Recruiting Profile

I want to be able to get a great college education while playing a sport I've always loved. I believe that my competitive edge and determination makes me a great candidate. My background is very different from most collegiate athletes. I've lost family, I've been cut from teams, and I experienced injuries, but every time I get the opportunity to better myself, as a person or athlete, I work as hard as possible to achieve it. And if I do fail, I learn from my mistakes and build off of them so I don't fail again. Academically, I have experienced college level business courses and even took one at my local community college. Most students are scared to take a class they could possibly do terrible in, but I am not one of those students. I enjoy working for my success and glory.
