Personal Statement
My name is Andy Baranauskas and football is my life. I have played football since I was five. I am six feet and one inch tall and I weigh two-hundred and twenty pounds. Leadership, attitude, and work ethic are the most important things I have to offer a team. In the ten years that I have played, I have always been the guy that in the heat of the game when the going gets tough I can put the team on my back and lead us towards victory. I also believe what makes me different than any other player is how hard I work. I have always carried myself by the philosophy of being the first one everywhere and the last one to leave. Whether it was back from a water break, out on the practice field, or in the weight room, I always hustle. I am also not afraid of hard work. I workout six days a week. It doesn't matter to me where or what level I play football as long as I am playing the game. I will play for anyone who values hard work, academics, and a winning attitude. I want to study either Journalism or Brodcasting in college. I want a good education. The 2009 season, I started every game on JV. During the 2010 season I made Varsity as a sophomore. I worked hard everyday in practice and started in three games and played a lot in three others. During this season I started every game on Offense, Defense, and certain special teams. I was elected junior captain on my team. I have many goals and the drive to succeed which would be a positive impact on any team.
