Michael Murphy '20 Recruiting Profile

I was born in Las Vegas but raised in Montgomery County, Maryland.  

I have always wanted to attend college since I was young.  I realized that to be successful, I needed to get a college degree.  As well as wanting a college degree and a successful career - I also want to play football.  I have been playing for 5 years, and I love the game.  I love the camaraderie of my fellow teammates and the competitiveness of playing.  The teamwork it involves is a great indication, I believe, to how life works in the real world.

I want to combine my desire to go to college and to play football.  I am so excited to get the chance to play football in college.  My determination and dedication will make me an excellent candidate to play and to earn a degree.

I am committed to the next 4 years to study, play football, and to become the best man I can possibly be. Once I leave college I want to take all that I have learned and to be successful in my career. 

I am looking forward to the future.
