Personal Statement
My favorite part of high school football was the first play of my junior year, picking off the opposing teams quarterback. What motivated me to step up as a team leader and to give everything I had in every game happened at the end of my sophomore season. We lost in the final seconds of the regional finals. Watching everyone walk of the field that night made me realize I need to take advantage of every opportunity that I get to do my absolute best.
I started playing football when I was four years old. As soon as my dad told me about it, I was up for the challenge. One of the most important life lessons football has taught me is how to pick your brothers up when they are down and never stop pushing yourself. School has played a big roll in my life and I always put forth my best effort to excel in the classroom. I know I have the talent to play college football and influence any team with my determined work ethic, and leadership ability. I am looking for a program that will suit both my academic and athletic needs. I am confident that I have what it takes to excel as a college athlete, and am looking for the school that best fits me.
