Connor O'Leary '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Connor O'Leary. I am a Senior at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. I am 6'0" 205 pounds. Defensive and Tight End, as well as priding myself in my ability as a Long Snapper. In my short six year career as a Long Snapper I am proud to say I have never messed up a snap or gotten a field goal/punt blocked in a game unless it was a coaches call and we needed to take a safety. Currently, I am looking for a school close to home that will provide me with the opportunity to play hard nosed, competitive football. I come to win and accept nothing but success from myself and my teammates. As a student, I am very tedious in my studies and I pay attention to detail. I feel as though that my attitude off the field reflects who I am on it. I am told by others that I am a sociable, approachable and friendly person who would be a perfect fit on any college campus. I work hard at what I do, on and off the field. I am very involved in the community giving back to the town football team as well as volunteering at a summer camp for special needs children and young adults. What sets me aside from other recruits is that even though I am only 190 pounds I can play against someone that is 150 pounds or the position of a guy that is 250 pounds and give the same intensity of the 250 as if he were 350. I am a "hit em hard," "never say die," "It ain't the size of the dog in the fight" player who doesn't care how big or how small he is I'll play to the whistle and even sometimes after. I am known as a quiet leader and I protect my teammates. I am a firm believer in the fact that my teammates are my brothers and I would jump in the middle of traffic if they needed me to.
