Francis Jordan '26 Recruiting Profile

A 'bull in a china shop.' I can remember being called this since I was 3 or 4 years old, and it was never said in a 'positive' context. I was a little taller and definitely thicker than the other kids my age. I left quite a mess in my wake. When I started playing football, what were once qualities that would get me in trouble, became my assets. 'Frank the Tank' or 'Hit em with the Frank' is what I hear from the stands. It feels a whole lot better.

I live by a simple saying, 'do my best.' In academics the measure of 'best' is clearer and more straightforward. As a member of a sports team, doing one's 'best' is what is best for the team, not just oneself. Offensively, I have played multiple positions including guard, tackle, tight end, and full back. Defensively, I have played defensive tackle, defensive end, and outside linebacker. For the 2023-2024 season, I was shocked when I was awarded Offensive MVP. I had not scored the most points or ran the most yards, but I did whatever the coaches needed me to do.  I was further shocked when I received this award for the 24-25 season too.  

I approach each practice and game the same way- try my best, have a 'can-do' attitude, and be a positive support for my team. I only started playing football in high school, so I lacked the background other players had.  I 'studied' the game of football, and I was committed to learning the game both academically and physically. As a freshman, I was honored by being chosen Rookie of the Year. I will always be the first one on the field and the last one off.

Most recently I was awarded Western Mass- Player of the Week- 11/8/2024.

My goal and aspirations are to attend a Division 1 university that demands both athletic and academic excellence.
