david doherty '19 Recruiting Profile

    Thank you to all the Coaches who are taking the time to read my profile. I will be a positive force in your program because I love improving and not settling for less than my best. I truly respect and engage with my coaches, fellow teammates, students, and all teachers and staff.  I am a hard worker who puts in the practice time it takes to getting it right. My track record for the past few years on and off the field is filled with accomplishments thus overcoming a difficult start in life. A few years back I chose to take the lead in changing that rocky foundation and I haven't looked back.  Both my grades and athletic life have constantly improved.  

    On the field I believe in my team, as we can only achieve victories together. I motivate others through encouragement. I consistently work at creating a cohesive team unit. Most importantly ,I choose to lead my team mates by example; both on the field and off.  I’m dedicated to what I commit to- showing up early and applying myself to the end.  I have shown exponential growth that is expected of a committed player and my playing reflects it. I focus on the job at hand, no matter the situation. 

   I choose to play an active role in my life. I am looking to you to help me fulfill my passion for football and a better academic future. I plan to study business management in college. Where I will further my academic goals of achievement. And then, after graduation, I plan to go into business for myself.
