Chris Stiles '17 Recruiting Profile

I am an 11-year football veteran, I began playing the game as a Barnstable Silver Bullet at the age of 7 and have not stopped since.  As a Silver Bullet, I was a highly versatile player, excelling at many positions on both sides of the ball, including linemen, linebacker and running back.

As a Red Raider for Barnstable High school I have been on the Varsity team since my sophomore year.  last season I lettered as an outside linebacker. I also stepped up by filling in as a running back and played special teams. I have been a two-year Iron Raider as well as  a  ‘700 Club’ member, which combines the weight of the deadlift, bench press, and front squat.  This senior year I was honored to be voted captain a position I value and respect. I feel I am highly respected for my leadership skills on and off the field..

I have been a multi-season athlete playing , basketball, football and lacrosse, lettering in lacrosse last season as an LSM.  I not only apply my skills and determination in every game, but I have also made honor roll every year of high school with a 3.9 GPA in mostly honor classes. Each year I try and push myself by taking more honors classes. My goal in college is to major in Engineering and to continue playing the sport I have loved since the age of 7 and succeed in both.
