Jason Darcy '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jason Darcy, I'm a 6' 3", 195 lbs junior wide receiver. I am a big, fast target with soft hands, but who also loves contact and blocking. I have a 3.8 GPA out of 4, and a 4.3 out of 5 (weighted). I take all honors classes.  My goal as a student athlete is to perform highly in both the classroom and the football field. I started at receiver for my home town, Marshfield, as a sophomore and lead my team in touchdowns and yards per reception. Ever since i was little, I dreamed of taking my game to the next level and playing football in college. Although I am virtually undecided in my preferred college major, I'm hoping that football will help me pursue a better education. During this process I would like to find a school that best suits me academically and athletically. I hope to bring a state championship to my home town and continue to improve my game and academics in the years i have left here in high school. I will bring a great deal of leadership and integrity to whichever college I attend. I find that I lead by example in the weight room and on the field, and I would be a high character person to add to any locker room.
