2014 HighlightsMy name is Mike Walsh and I go to Nauset Regional High school in Eastham Massachusets. I play Cornerback, saftey, runningback and can also play receiver. I started playing football in the fourth grade and have loved the sport since then. The lessons I have learned playing football are imperative to living a good successful life. These past 4 years of high school football have been great but a lot of hard work. Every summer Monday-Thursday we would have workouts 6am-8am that consist of an hour in the weight room then an hour outside conditioning. Those workouts taught me real commitment and hard work because while most people were sleeping, we were working hard. My goal is to play for a college team whatever division that may be. In my high school career I have earned three varsity letters for football and basketball. This past season we did not have the best record but had a very tough schedule playing two of the six super bowl champions in the state. This past season I have 65 tackles as a corner for seven games and saftey the last four. On the other side of the ball I rushed for about 300 yards on 67 carries. I believe my work ethic and my desire to get better would be my best characteristic. I simply want to play the game just to play it and see how good I can get through more hard work. I will give 100% to whatever school I go and always give it my best effort, all I ask is that you believe in my abilities.
