My collegiate goals consist of getting my Masters Degree in Bio Engineering as well as a Masters in Business. My "blue collar" work ethic is what drives me. I show up and give it my all...every day. I leave it out all on the field. My competitiveness and ability to adapt to any situation is what sets me apart from others. I just don't give up....my mother says it is the "Russian in me". I was adopted from Russia at the age of 4. I came to the US only 13 years ago not knowing the language and having to adapt to a new life, a new culture. It was not easy for me, I had to get extra help but my resilience and my natural competitiveness makes me work 10x's harder than the next man or woman. I am what I am today because of my parents, because of my cousins, aunts and uncles, because of the teachers and people that have helped me along the way...the village that is "my family". I am very lucky to be where I am and to have the opportunity to use my athleticism and skills to better myself. However it is equally important that I give back. I strongly believe in giving back...it is important to me personally to do that to help others less fortunate. My cousin nicknamed me "Lucky" when I was adopted and I truly believe I am. Lucky to have freedom, lucky to have opportunity and lucky to be a football player.
