Since I can remember, I have loved football. I love everything about it. I love the fact that it's hard. I love the fact that it takes a lot of practice to be great. I love watching film for my personal opponent's weakness and to critique my own weaknesses so I can be better. Since I was a kid, I've been a leader on my football team - always trying to make those around me better...by working hard to make myself better. I've been a Team Captain at every level I've played and have always tried to be a leader on and off the field. Whether it's by making the honor roll or studying film or coming to practice early or staying in the weight room late...I try to do all I can to make myself and my team better players and better people. My Dad gave me a quote when I was kid from Vince Lombardi. He said, "Football is like life - it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority." I firmly believe this and hope I can apply these things at the next level both in college and on a college football team. I will continue to work hard at school, in the weight room, on the practice field and on Friday nights so I can earn your trust to play on your team.
