Hi I’m Carter Aicher and I’m from a small school 15 minutes south of Detroit. I’m newer to football but every time I step onto a football field I am ready to give 100 percent no matter what. My first year playing football was my sophomore year of high school and I don’t regret signing up. My coach called me up to play at the JV level because we were short handed on the JV squad. At the time I didn’t know a thing of football but I was ready to give it a shot and everyday since I’ve been practicing to become a better player and my first JV game I started at right tackle, as the season progressed I became better and more fond of the sport of football. When I was pulled up to varsity my junior year I did not want to disappoint my coaches so I tried my hardest to get a starting spot by going to different camps, watching film from former players on my team, lifting, and eating properly to gain weight. Over the summer my coach had me practice at center and practice my footwork and blocking when we were down a player. When the first game came around I was a second everything on the line but I was still ready no matter what and when out right guard went down I was the first one there to finish the game. I have never played right guard but I still tried my hardest and as the year progressed I got better and better at right guard. When playoffs came around our right tackle at the time was hurt so I play his spot for the week and planned to play right tackle that game but a injury set me back ending my junior season. Now in my senior season I had a huge hole to fill at defensive end and right tackle. I spent months training and learning the play book the best I could. I went to camps to become a better defensive end because I knew I could become better. I started off slow but when I got the hang of it at defensive end I was off, I am now starting at defensive end and have started for 7 different games at defensive end in the past each game getting a little bit better every time. All the while starting at offensive tackle. I became a key piece on offense and defense aswell as being on the majority of special teams.
