Max Maloney '15 Recruiting Profile

 My name is Max Maloney and am very interested in playing college football. It has been a dream of mine to play at the collegiate level since I was young.  Although I love many sports - football is my love and passion.  I am a Senior at West Iron County High School and have been a 3-year varsity starter on both offense and defense.  I have a huge drive and commitment to excellence on the grid iron, in the weight room, and in the classroom.  I am 6'3" and weigh 205.  I play Defensive End, Tight End and am the Punter, as well. However, Defensive End is where I stand out.  My hard work and commitment to this sport, has helped me to achieve many of my goals and earned me recognition in some of the highest arenas.  In 2013, I was named 'All-Conference - Defensive End.  In 2014 I was named 'All-Conference - Defensive End', 'All-Conference Defensive Player of the Year', All UP 'Dream Team' Selection, 'Class ABC - UP Defensive Player of the Year', Associated Press and Detroit Free Press 'First Team All - State Selection'.  These awards have been very full-filling, but nothing compared to playing on an amazing team with incredible teammates and coaches and being part of an undefeated season and a 19-game winning streak.  I am ready to now move on to the next level - college football.  Football is very important to me, as is academics.  I currently have 3.47 GPA and am interested in majoring in Engineering.  I look forward to hearing from you and meeting with you.
