Lorenzo Martinez '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Lorenzo Martinez I attend the high school Bishop Foley Catholic High School. What has really drove me all 8 years of playing sports is I love the rush you get when you are out on the field it truly is a feeling. To receive running up and down the field or the court. I started getting into Lacrosse in 4th grade and I really enjoy playing. That feeling when I score or when I assist a teammate to score is amazing. What i've learned about myself is I am a team player I always put my team mates first before myself, I‘m willing to help my teammates shine and help win games, I’m not a selfish player. I am also a great leader I will always pick my teammates up if they are feeling down or if they are doubting themselves. Everyone has been through some obstacles at least one time during there career as an athlete, including myself. I have had to fight against many injuries including breaking my ankle and lacerating my spleen in football, but i always come back stronger and harder and work 5x harder and I always come back with a drive to get better. I feel like I would make a great addition to any team willing to take me on.
