AJ (Austin James) Martel '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is AJ Martel and I will be a senior at Mason High School during the 2023-24 school year. My goals after high school are to pursue a degree in the medical field while also furthering my football or track career. I am a passionate student, first and foremost, and am looking for the best college fit to match my high academic goals along with my desire to be a college athlete. My academic record includes a 1430 SAT, a top 1% high school GPA (of 240 graduating students), multiple academic awards, and the completion of ten advanced placement courses. I feel I am well-rounded with my athletics as well. I have earned all-state accolades in FOUR different sports in high school including football, wrestling, track, and diving. My track & field career includes a state title (300 hurdles) during my junior year and I am currently on pace to break our school career rushing record during my season year (record is 4001 yards). My leadership qualities can be found both in the classroom and the athletic arenas both as a captain and a class officer / NHS leader.
