Darius Jackson '15 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to attend a University where I can achieve my Masters Degree in Kinesiology and be a successful athlete. Throughout my years of football and other sports, I have remained coachable and very diligent. When I play it consist of confidence but I also remain humble. I have always been the player to play wherever the coach needs/wants  or I am the player to assist a teammate on and off the field. I set examples athletically on the field. I am the player that leaves 120% on the field every time I step on it and I encourage my teammates to do the same. Something that most players do not seem to understand is that we are students before we are athletes. We can not continue to play sports if our grades are not up to par. I also set examples academically for my teammates to feed off of. I believe I am the player that brings qualities to a coach that he needs and also qualities that he wants. One of my philosophies has always been to be an all around player on the field, off the field, in the classroom, and in life and if I can continue to do that my success can be unlimited.
