David Wargo '15 Recruiting Profile

I want to be a leader on and off the field. Not only do i want to be the guy that can help his teammates with a play on the field, i want to be the guy that can help them study for a quiz, or help them pass a class. This year i am captain of the football team. Last year i was captain of baseball, so i am used to leadership responsibilities. Already throughout  7on7's i have been having to help out my slot receivers on offense, and guide my db's and lb's around on defense. So i think i do a good job of remembering all the plays ins and outs, and knowing everyones position. I think that is an asset that not too many high school players can bring to a team. I also have improved a lot over the past year. Last year i sometimes struggled getting off the line in press coverage situations. I have added about 30 lbs. to my bench over the summer and look to continue to progress that throughout the season. I have also worked on my swim and rip moves to help me break their arms free. So that is another thing i can guarantee you i will do. I will study the film, figure out what I'm doing wrong, and work on it everyday to correct it. Also i thing i would like to ask of you, is if you watch my film, even if you aren't interested in me, could you maybe send me an email or something just letting me know on some things you think i can work on to get better. It would help a lot to know what needs to be done to compete at the college level. thanks for reading.
