Darius Jordan '15 Recruiting Profile

Currently my goals are to finish high school with a 3.5gpa. A goal that I set early on in my high school football career was to lead my team to the MHSAA playoffs which I was able to do last year. This year my goal is to win the state championship. I have always had a goal of being a successful football quarterback on all levels of play. I want to always be able to give back to my family and my community. When I graduate from college not only will I be successful on the football field but even after that I plan on starting my own sporting good department store franchise.

Some of the intangibles that make me a good candidate for any team is that I am an excellent listener. I am very coachable especially with my position at quarterback you have to be. However, I am able to apply what I heard/learned into practice and perfect it in a short period of time. I believe a lot of games are won in preparation. Studying the film and knowing your opponents moves better than they do. It gives you a leg up on the competition before the game even starts. Film room, weight room and having control of the locker room are what makes me different from everyone else. We are all talented but these intangibles will shoot me to the next level as well as my teammates. I will outwork the hardest worker day in and day out. I'm the first to practice and the last to leave. I put forth just as much effort if not more in my classroom work. A quality education will sustain me for the rest of my life.

Why should you give me a scholarship you may ask yourself...It's because I'm a winner coach. Being a winner speaks volumes. You can't go wrong and you won't go wrong in a scholarship to me coach. I plan on being at my best on a daily basis.
