I am currently a Junior Kicker playing for Champlin Park High School on the Varsity Football team. I joined the team with 4 games remaining in the season and successfully juggled both my football and soccer schedules. I can hit from 60 yards as a sophomore (Go watch film^) Even before the football season concluded, I decided I would like to play at the next level, but I know that means -- I have to work for it.
When not in practice I routinely work on my kicks on any of the numerous fields around school and I am also focusing on getting stronger in the weight room at least 5 times a week. In the winter you can find me kicking indoors and playing club soccer. I am very coachable and am always open to new learning new techniques. Whatever I do, I strive to be the hardest worker on the field, I'm just competitive I guess! My motto is "Trust your work," which drives me to get better each day and gives me confidence to make my kicks, in football and soccer.
I realize that in the word "student athlete," "student" comes first and this is a must. I have a high GPA and am taking higher-level classes in school. I want to attend a college where I can grow as a student athlete on and off the field. I'm looking for a college that fits me as a person, one with a good football team and one where I can take the classes in my field of interest.
