Roger Thorp '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I am currently a high school senior. I have lived on my family's farm my entire life. I am accustomed to hard work, and I started lifting weights with my older brother when I was in fifth grade. Our school didn't offer tackle football until seventh grade, but once I began that first season I knew I loved the sport. I started varsity as a ninth grader and have been steadily improving since that point. I play on both sides of the ball as an defensive tackle and an offensive lineman. Although I currently play right guard, I also have a lot of experience at tackle and center. I try to be a leader both on and off the field, and I will be receiving my Eagle Scout award in November. My dream is to one day be able to both further my education and play the sport I love in college.
