My name is Easton Stivarius, I am a Junior at La Crescent-Hokah High School in Southeastern Minnesota. I am very interested in being a student-athlete at your school. I am a 5'10 / 180lbs Middle Linebacker / Running Back. I am also an honor roll student with a GPA of 3.47
In 2020, I was injured in the second game of the season tearing my ACL and Meniscus. I had surgery in December and was determined to come back and play again. I fully recovered and was cleared to play 10 months later. I was not cleared during my freshman season to play so I had to sit out. I was more excited than ever to be back and play my Sophmore season. During the fourth game, I injured the same knee again, tearing my ACL and Meniscus. My surgeon understood my love for the game and that the goal was to have me back for my Junior season. I was back on the field playing the game I love and that motivates me in all avenues of life. I was cleared at nine months due to full strength and passing all tests. I was back for my first game in week three which felt great and is the moment you wait for after a long recovery. We finished 3-7 this season.
I ended this season with 68 tackles, the second-best on our team while only playing 6 games. I averaged 11.3 tackles a game.
