Jaden Matchette '21 Recruiting Profile

I am extremely passionate for the game of football and I always have been since the age of four. I started playing tackle football in third-grade. I am in the weight room at six in the morning or right after school at 2:15 improving my strength. I am known as someone who is extremely competitive and wants to win in everything I do. I also have strengths of leadership,  a hard work ethic and encouragement.  I feel I am very coachable and can listen and adjust when it is needed. I am constantly watching football at every level learning my position and finding skills and techniques that would benefit me and make me a better football player. I revieved an honorable mention at free saftey for our district. I also have been given the oppurtunity to be a captain in my senior season.

Every time I step foot on the football field or in the weight room you can expect my full 100%. I am usually one of the fastest players on the field. I compete every play and want to be the best player on the field. I want the most competitive college environment for myself. Something that will give me a challenge but allow me to work harder and get better every day in the school and the classroom. 

I take academics as serious as I do football. In school I work hard to get my work done to the best of my ability in and out of school. I use my time out of school to prepare for tests and whatever other projects that may be coming up. I ask questions when needed and set myself up for success in the classroom. My faith also plays a big role in my life. I attend church every Sunday with my family. I believe God has a plan for me in the future.
