Devin Orbeck '23 Recruiting Profile

I want to graduate from college and get my bachelor's degree in business. I am a good fit for your team because I get it done on the field and in the classroom. I have been in love with football since the third grade when it was offered at my school. The first time reality smacked me in the face was my junior season against in the playoffs when we were steam-rolled 42-6. Ever since then I have trained like a madman and led my teammates to train as well to make sure it doesn't happen again. I am different from the rest of the recruits because not many people are as versatile as me on the field and maintain outstanding grades in the classroom. I maintain a high GPA because I make sacrifices when I have to get homework done (lose sleep, cancel plans, etc.) The two biggest factors that have shaped my life are my divorced parents and growing up on a farm. I learned earlier than others that you have to work extremely hard to get things you desire.
