I have been playing football since third grade. Ever since I started playing I have had the dream of playing at the next level whether that is the collegiate level or the NFL one day. Something that has always been inspiring to be is my parent's work ethic and how they would get up at 4:30 before work and workout every single day. This has driven me to be able to get up everyday before school and go lift in the weight room.
I enjoy a good challenge and am not afraid of the hard work to reach those goals. Last year I set my sights on making it to state in track and through hard work, I achieved that goal, even setting a few school records. I have great work ethic and the strive to be one of the hardest working players. I am a team leader and like to encourage those around me to make us better better athletes both on and off the field.
In the classroom, I study hard, taking college level courses and maintain a high GPA. I was inducted into the National Honor Society and volunteer with school functions along with volunteer work at my church, Zion Lutheran Church. I was nominated for the Excel Award for excellence in community, education and leadership. I believe my high school course load has helped prepare me for the challenge of balancing college academics and athletics in the future.
