Hi my name is Matt Perkins and I currently am the Head Football Coach at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia. I am writing on behalf of Jeremy Anderson with whom I've had the pleasure of coaching and teaching at Rock Bridge High School. Jeremy has been under my care for the several years as a player and student. It is my belief that he is ready to take on a bigger challenges in life and ready to move into the work sector and excel in college academically and athletically. Jeremy is ideal for this pursuit because he is one of the best young student athletes I have been around. Mr. Anderson has many great qualities. He is meticulous with his preparation. In 19 years of coaching football I have yet to meet his equal. Jeremy has shown great qualities that will serve him in life. Those qualities are not limited to but include; toughness, great work ethic, high character/morals, dependability, charming, and smart.

Mr. Anderson is a mature young man who won’t embarrass a program or business. He has shown a willingness to help where needed as no job was too big or too small for him. This is a rare quality in players today. Jeremy helped with our younger athletes on teaching the game of football, weight room habits, and how to deal with adversity. He is a leader.

Jeremy has helped develop a great culture at Rock Bridge as he was a guiding force for some students that were found struggling with learning their role within the defense. . He spent personal time to ensure each student athlete was comfortable in their role and made our team dynamic stronger through his selfless behavior.

Jeremy has a great understanding of people and his background in our program as a leader will serve him in all of his future endeavors. Jeremy has knowledge of football but also has soft skills that will impact him beyond the game.I am proud of my time with Mr. Anderson. I know he will be effective in this life and make others around him better people. I wish him well!
