Personal Statement
My name is Tony Farr, I am a little under 6’3 and weigh 331lbs. Defensive/offensive Lineman. I started playing football later because my parents wanted me to be an athlete first and find what I was passionate about playing. I was the starting mid/wing/forward on my conference championship HS soccer team and started as a freshman on my HS basketball team before starting on my varsity football team in 2021. I felt like I was home after my first football practice. I love all sports, but football the most. I hex squat at least 525lbs, squat over 400lbs and bench 260lbs (just started benching, and back squats but I will make sure I move up fast).
Right now, in my "off " season, I am in my 5th year playing for one of the best AAU basketball teams in Kansas City and I start for my club Rugby team in KC at the same time. My rugby coach said he's never had a guy as big as me even finish a practice (but he thought I only weighed 250lbs). That takes 8-9 practices a week plus games. I started on multiple teams with my high school including basketball, soccer, futsal and now football.
I have played 4 sports or more year-round since I was 3 years old. Did wrestling, basketball and futsal together every winter until I was in 8th grade. Played soccer and wrestled together every spring. Played soccer every summer and fall. I was a state champion youth wrestler and 2nd in the nation.
No one will work harder for you or put more time in learning more than I will. If you believe in me, I owe you everything I've got.
I have loved and watched (and played pickup or flag) football my whole life and was very excited to start playing. I have been told my best skills are my vision, creativity, physicality and footwork, I've been told I have good feet. Another positive is my background with multiple sports. I look to be the best athlete, student, and person I can be in life. Not in that order.
