My name is Brisbin Reiter. I have loved the game of football dating back to as far as I can remember. My family can be described as diehard Steeler fans on my father's side, and unwavering Husker faithful on my mother's. My father had a successful college career, spent three years playing in the arena football leagues, and coached high school football. Our conversations through the years have gone from discussing "who will win" scenarios to breaking down schematics, techniques, and overall football philosophy. My interest and devotion to both football and academics go beyond standard expectations. I simply want to be the best and will do whatever it takes to achieve that.
From a physical standpoint, I have been blessed with outstanding athletic ability. While not only being one of the strongest players on my team (500 lb + Squat | 315 lb + bench), I am also one of the fastest. During my sophomore season in track (2022), my time in the 100m was 11.34. While athletic ability is undoubtable important to success in football, history suggests intellectual assets are just as important.
Prior to my 8th grade season, I made a promise to myself that I will always be the most prepared person on the football field regardless of who my team plays against. Football to me doesn't begin and end during the timeframe I am required to be in attendance. I study the game religiously during my free time. This includes spending 10+ hours per week studying our upcoming opponent during the season.
In conclusion, I'd like to reiterate that I possess all the desired athletic ability that every college coach desires in a player. In addition to possessing desired athletic ability, I will not be outworked in the classroom, film room, practice field, or during the off-season. I will always remain coachable and dedicated to the betterment of the team. I look forward to the next couple years of this recruiting process. I am also eager to discuss my future with the representatives of college football programs that may be interested in bringing me into the family.
Thank you for your time,
Brisbin Reiter
