Joseph Feist '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joe Feist, and I’m from a small town in Montana. Football has been one of the biggest passions of my life, and my goal is to play at the collegiate level — and maybe even have the opportunity to go pro someday.

Over the past three years of high school football, I’ve grown tremendously as both a player and a teammate. My versatility has been a key part of my development. As a freshman, I played multiple positions on both sides of the ball — including running back, linebacker, tight end, quarterback, and defensive back. That experience gave me a deeper understanding of the game and led to a breakout sophomore year, where I earned 2nd Team All-State honors as a linebacker.

In my junior year, I was honored to be named team captain for the Simms Tigers. I stepped up as starting quarterback for most of the season after our QB went down with an injury. That leadership role helped me grow both mentally and physically on the field. Going into my senior year, I plan to focus on a few key positions and sharpen my skill set even further. I’m comfortable lining up at defensive end in certain packages thanks to my speed off the line and ability to read plays. While I may not be the biggest guy on the field, I make up for it with quickness, agility, and football IQ.

My ability to read both offenses and defenses has made me a dependable leader on the field. I’m proud to be returning as a captain for my senior year. Off the field, I’ve maintained a 3.1 GPA throughout high school, and I’m committed to continuing that balance between academics and athletics.
