Darren Prather '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Darren Prather and I am a freshman at Edward C. Reed High school. My passion or as some others would say obsession is football. I have been playing football for 10 years straight and counting. I would love to keep those numbers going. I will do anything to keep improving on the field and off. I always make the extra effort to keep getting better or as the great Vince Lombardi would say “To be successful, a man must exert an effective influence upon his brothers and upon his associates, and the degree in which he accomplishes this depends on the personality of the man. The incandescence of which he is capable. The flame of fire that burns inside of him. The magnetism which draws the heart of other men to him.” I have always had great leadership skills to help the team when we're down always trying to get more out of my team mates. I would also love to pursue my dream of being a psychologist or owning my own business, also I would love to have a coach who doesn't just coach football but also life lessons.
