Thomas Johnston '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches! My name is Thomas Johnston, I am a sophomore at John Stark Regional High School. I've always been interested in football but my parents didn't let me play until 7th grade. I immediately knew football was the sport for me, I loved the physicality of it. Since 7th grade, I have grown mentally and physically and this past season I started JV at Linebacker, Running Back, and started on every varsity special team. Ever since I started football I have dreamed of playing in college. Not only would playing football at the collegiate level make me happy, it would also make my family proud, and making my family proud is an accomplishment in itself. Furthermore, Outside of football I believe in community work as I am an active worker at my church, being an altar boy and helping with events and festivals. I will also become a peer leader junior and senior year. I am looking for a college that not only balances football academics and and social relationships but one that contains a football program where I will be motivated to preform to the best of my ability. I am extremely excited for this journey and will not stop at anything before I reach my goal!
