My name is Cort Collier. The sport of football is my life, it is my true passion, and ultimately is what drives me to work harder and to keep driving forward every day not only in my sport, but in my life. I have been around the sport of football my entire life, ever since I could remember, but only started officially playing the sport at the age of 10 after 6 previous years of flag football. I am and always have been a team first player, and both on a personal and team level, I try to do whatever it takes to be the best version of ourselves. In terms of my team, I would truly do anything for my teammates as they are family to me. Personally, I am constantly working on my craft, my body and my studies daily in order to continue to improve and get better not only for myself, but for my teammates. I am in either my school gym or my neighborhood gym at least once a day everyday as I take my workout routine extremely seriously because I know how it could not only elevate my game and skill level, but also my body. My coaches and parents would be the first to tell you about my character, which I feel is very pure and real in all of the facets of my life. I believe that I approach every obstacle in life not as something negative, but just as another challenge and opportunity to better myself and come out stronger than before. By the time my high school career has commenced, if the opportunity were presented, I would love and would be more than grateful to compete at a collegiate level in my passion football. I understand that this can not be accomplished overnight, but rather through hard work and determination not only to my game, but also in all areas of my life. These are my mottos and pillars of life everyday that I strive for and one day hope to achieve.
