Lamont Chamberlain '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Lamont Chamberlain Jr. I was born July 18th, 2005, in Buffalo NY, I have no siblings. I researched my name, and it means law man, and it does not reflect my personality. My parents named me after my father. My earliest childhood memory was when I first started playing football it, made me the young man I am now, and I'm glad my dad took time to teach me the basics and then put me on a team. I’ve been playing football since I was 5 so that’s 13 years. My best childhood memory was my first touchdown in little league football. It made my parents so happy to see their son score a touchdown. My worst childhood memory was me being chased by a dog when I was little my dad ran off the porch and scared the dog away so the dog wouldn’t attack me. I was born at the children's hospital at 3 p.m. 

  My race/ethnicity is African American, both of my parents are African American also. Cultural traditions that my family follow is going to church every Sunday and all the kids have to carry on their tradition. My culture helps me understand myself and others because it helps us black males to keep our head out the streets and keep our heads in the books to actually do something good for our family and not end up dead or in jail. The important people in my life are all my elders. I treat them with the up most respect and don’t want to do anything but make them happy for me. The elders in my family influenced me to be a man and do what really matters and not be a kid they helped me grow up mentally and showed me its more to this world then the streets. My favorite Tv show is lab rats, my favorite food is crab legs, my favorite color is orange, my favorite music is rap/r&b, my favorite school subject is math because I love numbers. 

   My strengths are being active and helping others and being respectful, my weakness is just not being on time for anything. I’m good at sports, reading, drawing, gaming, etc. I value my parents that’s wat guides my behavior because I don’t want to upset them in any kind of way. My personality type is laid back and calm. I’m most proud of me making it to my senior year because I'm finally going to be done with high school. I care about my parents the most if they're not safe then I'm not safe no matter what family first always. I enjoy playing football with my teammates, and I enjoy being with my brothers from another mother. My interests/hobbies are sports or anything with technology. One organization I belong to is the health sciences charter school falcons football team. 

   I’ve been to Connecticut, Ohio, Syracuse, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. I’ve had held one job and that is my current job now I currently work at family dollar. Times I acted as a leader was on the football field, we were losing I talked to my team at half time, and we came back and won the game 24-18. I have never been on a meaningful CAS activity. Super bowl 51 impacted by personal development the most because it shows me no matter how much you're behind u can always come back. One personal milestone I have accomplished was graduating 8th grade and now I'm going to graduate 12thgrade. I volunteered at a daycare and helped with kids. I see myself in 5 years either in college, or in 10 years I see myself being a fire fighter. I want to grow in the time management era because I can't never be on time for anything no matter how close I always do stuff last minute. I would tell my future self that its nothing in this world u can’t do.
