I began playing football junior year in high school. I decided to play after I was repeatedly told by coaches I am too aggressive and strong for the soccer field. Because of inexperience and All-County depth at the running back position I did not receive much time on the field on offense. I did although make an impact on special teams, recovering multiple onside kicks and dishing out some hard hits. After a disappointing lose in our first playoff game junior year I immediately began training for next season. I put many hours into getting stronger throughout the winter and spring. My gained strength and opportunity to play running back paid of senior year. I punished defenders all season long taking down multiple defenders on many runs. I also showed great patience and and vision running though the hole. I often was tasked with lead blocking for our All-County running back Connor Cassidy and created many lanes for him to spring loose.
I look forward to being given an opportunity to play at the next level. I continue to challenge my self in the class room while also planning to play baseball this spring. I have gone from never playing football in my life to becoming an impressive player. I have the hardworking mentality to improve each and every year.
