John Brennan '12 Recruiting Profile

I have played varsity football since i was in 9th grade, and have started on both sides of the ball since my sophomore year. During my Junior season I was voted All-State, All-Section, All-County, All League, and the League B-2 Lineman of the Year. I was made a captain for my upcoming senior year and was also named junior captain for my varsity lacrosse team. Defensively, my greatest strength is in my pass rush, but I also take great pride in my ability to maintain my gap and make plays in the run game. My mentality is to play every down like it is my last by chasing the ball relentlessly and refusing to give up on a play. Offensively, my strength is in my footwork, especially while pass-blocking. Along with my athletic ability, academics are especially important to me and my family. My goal for my senior season is to continue the winning tradition at my school and hopefully bring a state championship to my hometown. As an individual my goal defensively is to terrorize offenses and cause havoc in opposing backfields. Offensively, my goal is to protect the blindside of my quarterback and clear the path for my running backs. After my senior season my goal is to be the best player I can be at all times, and to get a college degree while playing college football.
