Akbar Reid '16 Recruiting Profile

I am Muhammad-Akbar.Reid , O-D All American RB  in the recruiting class of 2016 . As an athlete , I'd describe my self in five words ; Passionate , Perspicacious , Positive , Progressive , & Play-maker . As a Student-Athlete, I'm not only working hard for an outstandingly amazing football season but most importantly an exceedingly great Academic school year . I set my goals remarkably high , and I commit my self , my time , and my every effort to achieving them .

I've played two great seasons of football prior to my freshman & sophomore year for the Deposit Lumberjacks . For my freshman & sophomore year , I've been playing basketball & baseball In my sophomore year I put my focus back on football after attending a combine leading to elite prospect camp invites , gaining interest from 2 big D1 football programs, earning an Offense-Defense and NUC All American title , and being named to the NY state All Star team over the spring/summer . Around that time is when I reassured my self that playing football at the collegiate level while persuing my education , is definately what want to work towards . I've attended football Camps/Combines , and been focusing on becoming a better football player & all around better athlete . Some of the events I've attended include the VTO Sports Elite 100 invitational Football camp in Teaneck , NJ ( May ,10 ,2014 ) , the Nike SPARQ Combine (NJ) , and some college camps . I was also honored to have received invitations to, but wasn't able to attend great events,combines and showcases such as The NUC Ultimate100 , NUC Top Prospect Elite Rising Star Camp , The Blue-Grey All American Combine , The O-D Elite 1on1 match up classic , The Nike Football Camps , The NUC Texas vs World All-Star Game , and more .I am definite that I'll give whatever school I should play for a superior advantage that I believe I bring , and primarily achieve my academic success and highly set goals . And at all time I'll keep my faith in God , stay humble , positive , work extremely hard to become the best at what I do , and continue learn, compete, and find ways to succeed.
