I have been playing football since I was 7 years old. I love the game of football and being a part of a team trying to win it all. Next year will be my freshman year in high school where I plan to make an impact and help my team win. I've been working towards my goal of someday playing college football and in the NFL. I am determined and committed to reaching my goals through hard work and perseverance.
My skills in football are on both sides of the ball. I play defensive edge positions including outside linebacker and some cornerback. On offense I play Tight End and some wideout. I have good field vision when being a ball carrier and have some agility moves. I strive to be a quarterback and practice throwing the ball regularly. I have played for my same coach so far in my career and last season was my first at playing Tight End. I play where my coach needs me to go and do what the team needs to be successful. I am committed to football and don't miss practices and give 100% every time I step on the field.
The last two years I have been playing year round including multiple camps. I played during the regular Fulton Pop Warner season followed by Indoor leagues and camps during the summer. I have attended Jim Kelly camp two years in a row playing QB, Wide Out, Linebacker and Cornerback. I also attended Latavius Murray camp and Fulton Pop Warner skills and drills with Curt Fitzpatrick. I received the never quit award this past season during tackle displaying my high motor and dedication. I am a 5-year student of Tae Kwon Do and a 1st Degree Blackbelt. My training has taught me life lessons of respect, Courtesy, Integrity, Perserverance, self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit.
I have maintained good grades throughout my student career. I have earned honor role for 3 quarters in a row and finishing this quarter with high honor roll. I received an outstanding attendance award this past quarter showing that I am punctual and ready to take on my studies. My education is very important to me and I strive to the best of my abilities to earn good grades. My future depends on my ability to obtain these grades to pursue the college of my dreams.
In conclusion my statement above is the foundation to a successful career on and off the field. My goal of playing at the collegiate level will be obtained through hard work and dedication. I am excited for the opportunity to play for the college that believes in me and lets me prove they made the right choice. I am confident in my ability to make an impact on your team and contribute to the team's success and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team achieve its goal of winning a championship.
