Samuel Hogan '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sam Hogan and I am a 2019 Kicking and Punting prospect from Glens Falls, NY.  

I am a 2018 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-Sectional and 1st Team All-State selection as a kicker for the state champion Glens Falls Indians. I completed this season with 67 combined points, a 75 percent touchback ratio, a 95 percent PAT/FG accuracy and no kicks returned for a score.  I have already transitioned to kicking off the ground. I am currently working with Chris Sailer Kicking, Sam Watts Special Teams Academy, Clutch Kicking and former All-American and NFL kicker, Travis Dorsch. I have been identified as a "2019 Standout" at a Chris Sailer Eastern training session.

Prior to football, I played four years of highly competitive club soccer for the nationally ranked, national flight soccer club, Black Watch Premier, out of Schenectady, NY.  Our team played internationally (Brazil) and throughout the United States.

I have a 3.7/4.0 GPA and am currently enrolled in an early college program through State University of New York. I anticipate having more than 30 college credits upon graduation from high school. My goals for the upcoming year are to continue to do well academically, continue to work with my kicking and weight/speed trainers, increase my touchback ratio to 90+ percent (k/o distance 70+ yards and hang time to +4.0 seconds). I will also continue to improve my punt distance averages to 45+ yards and +4.5 hang time.
