I was five years old when I fell in love with football. I looked forward to football season every year after that. When I got to high school, I was excited to begin my football career. Right before Freshman year began, I broke my foot during a practice scrimmage. I had to sit out that whole season. I knew that I would need to work hard over the next year to earn my spot back on the team and that is exactly what I did. When my sophomore year season started, I earned a starting spot on the Varsity team. I understand the importance of showing up every day and continuing to earn your spot.
Football is more than just a sport to me, it is family. I have made some of the best friendships on the football field, from the coaches to the trainers to my brothers on the field. The team's success is my success. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to be a part of a team and a football family, doing what I love.
