Shane Baxter '22 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play college football at the highest competitive level that I can. I desire a college that will not only challenge me athletically but intellectually as well. I believe in myself and I have the dedication, pride and personal character to be part of a winning team. I always give 100 percent in all I do. I love to be a leader with strong determination. I understand achieving my goals requires faith in my self, as well as  hard work and determination to which I am fully committed. 

My name is Shane Baxter, I am 5”11 , 160 lbs, my position is a QB.  Thank you for taking this time to read my personal statement. My academic accomplishments are a 3.6 grade point average graduating in  class of 2022.

My athletic accomplishments for my junior year, I received the section IV honorable player.  I was honored Top play of the week for NYS  through Hudl in my senior year. I also received big time touchdown for a 51 Yard touchdown pass in my senior year, along with many other touchdown passes and runs. I continue to reach and achieve my goals doing something I love and have a passion for. I am a 3 sport athlete-Football QB, baseball pitcher/SS and basketball Shooting guard. 

I truly live the sport of Football and have played competitively since the age of 5.  My parents have been the most dedicated and inspirational  people in my life. They have spent numerous hours of traveling the east coast as well as being my biggest fans. Family is everything.  I wouldn’t have experienced the life of an athlete if it wasn’t for my parents.   I will aspire to use my experience as a Collegiate Football Player and my College Education Major to further my progression one day in the Field of Sports Medicine . I have the personal drive, integrity and determination to succeed on the field as well as in the classroom and hope one day to accomplish my goals.
