Football was destined to be a big part of life, being that my father went to a Division 1 college and got the opportunity to play in the Rose Bowl. From the age of 5 I was playing football in little leagues and eventually onto playing in middle school and then into high school. My passion for the sport has always been present and I always enjoy everything that comes along with being a football player, even if it means sacrificing my time to become a better player for myself or my teammates.
Within recent years football has increasingly become even more important to me and is my focus almost all of the time. Being part of such a good football program showed me that the competition is most definitely very high, no matter where you go. I've made the mental decision that I have to set myself apart from everyone else or I'll just get caught up in the mix. That means making smart decisions and working hard, especially in school. I plan to keep on doing the best for me and follow the directions of my coaches, because I know they only want the best from me. I believe I would make a valuable addition for the simple fact that my passion for the sport and desire to help others will help the team as a whole. If you don't put all your effort into something, then what's the point in doing it?
