Dylan Smith '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dylan Smith, and I am graduating class of 2023. I am 6’2 185lbs. and have been playing the sport of football since I was 5 years old. One of my most notable qualities is how coachable I am. I’ve played many different positions growing up but, currently I play as the starting Cornerback and Wide-receiver for the Newfield Wolverines, and have been since I was moved up to Varsity mid-way through my freshman year. By the time I was 10 years old, I knew football was my future and started to really train hard, not only on but, also off the field. Besides practice I started speed and agility training off hours and went to the field near my house regularly.  While my friends were home playing video games, I was at the field gabbing last-light to improve as much as I could for the sport I love. I consider myself a weapon and if given the opportunity to do so, I believe you will agree. I do not stop; I do not give up and I will not disappoint! 

Currently Standing 1st in yards compared to all other D2 WR's on Long Island with 271 receiving yards in 2 games for the 2023 season
