Personal Statement
Hello my name is nick gilbo and love playing football. I am a 6'1 240lbs linebacker/fullback. The last time I ran my 40 yard dash i got 4.7. I have great hands and i love to hit. I have been playing football since i was five years old and i have been around it my whole life. But out of all those years my most important accomplishment just occured last month in december when i was named 2nd team All-American as a linebacker for all NJCAA schools as a freshman. Also in high school i made first team all-state linebacker in my junior and senior years. Football is my passion and if someone on my team thinks about screwing around and not giving it there all every play i would defeinitly speak up and say something. I think of my self as a leader not only on the feild but off as well. It doesn't really matter where i play football as long as i get to play so geograhic regions or locations doesnt matter to me to much. I would like to go to a bigger school because i grew up in a small town and i just want to be involved with a lot of people just to get a good expeirence. I would like to play at any division level really. Yes we quilify for FASFA and money is probably the biggest factor in choosing a college. I'm not sure what i want to go for but something with business or sports im thinking. My goals are to make an impact on a team even if thats just making the starter's better during practice to help them succed on game day. After college i hope to keep pursuing my goal in business managment and hopefully incorperating sports into it. I am going to work just as hard after football at my job because football has taught me so many usful things that i can use throughout my life.
